We invite you to immerse yourself in our latest giant-screen film, “Cities of the Future,” now showing at the Infinity Theater here at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Narrated by award-winning actor John Krasinski, this film will energize kids and adults of all ages to think about engineering as a meaningful way to help others and leave a positive mark on the world.
In this film, you will discover the thrilling technological breakthroughs — electric autonomous vehicles and aerial highways, solar energy beamed down from space to power entire cities and smart buildings and greener infrastructure to keep us cool — that engineers are working on right now and meet a team of middle school students competing in the Future City Competition.

The film will start regular showings at our giant screen Infinity Theater after March 14. The Museum's state-of-the-art giant screen Infinity Theater includes a new lobby entrance with immersive finishes, an impressive new laser projector and sound system, new audio and visual accessibility features, enhanced programming, 2D and 3D capabilities and much more.

In "Cities of the Future," youth takes center stage as Paul mentors elementary school students to participate in the Future City Competition, an annual contest where 60,000 middle school students from the United States and around the world compete to create a model future city.. These kids are dreaming up the ultimate 3-D model of an electrically powered city to combat climate change – talk about inspiring future leaders!
