Does space go on and on without end? This remains an open question. How about our minds? Absolutely! The Denver Museum of Nature & Science has raised the bar for science education and engagement with the construction of its brand-new Infinity Theater, in order to keep people thinking, imagining and asking questions.
After a few months of renovations, the Infinity Theater officially opened its door for a soft launch in December of 2022, though more stunning finishes and renovations have been added to the concessions area. Thanks to donors, the Museum is inspiring a new generation of curious minds.

This brand new state-of-the-art theater replaces an aging giant screen theater and offers a limitless world of possibilities for guests of all ages to explore, connect and become more involved with the wonders of science and nature. Guests can enjoy an infinite wealth of new programs and documentary films, as well as Hollywood classic movies, independent films, local short films, multimedia shows and concerts. The Infinity Theater is also a versatile space that can be used for conferences, private events, performances, and panel discussions, making it a dynamic and inclusive destination for everyone.
Designed to be a hub of connection, education and inspiration, the Infinity Theater is a place where families, businesses, performers and the community can come together to learn, wonder and explore their limitless curiosities. With its new lobby entrance inspired by lush forests with a modern twist, the theater offers an immersive experience from the moment guests step inside.

The major renovation features a new laser projector and surround sound system, 2D and 3D capabilities, and improved accessibility options such as a hearing induction loop and updated closed captioning system. The theater has also been updated with sustainable practices, including energy-efficient projection systems, LED lighting and the use of recycled materials both inside and outside of the theater.
The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is dedicated to inspiring the next generation. With the new Infinity Theater, the Museum takes a step forward to continue advancing science education while pushing the boundaries of technology and accessibility.
