Unforgettable Psychedelic Spectacle: Pink Floyd Planetarium Show

Pink Floyd Shows are Back at the Museum!

The Pink Floyd show is back at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science! We now have daily 4:15 p.m. shows and on Fridays we have shows at 4:15 p.m., 5:30 p.m. & 6:45 p.m. We hope you join us for this mind-bending journey across the cosmos set to the psychedelic soundscape of Pink Floyd’s legendary “Dark Side of the Moon."

In our recently upgraded Gates Planetarium, you and your crew will transcend reality into a kaleidoscope of colors and shapes traveling around prisms, mechanical clocks and swirling galaxies in a far-out, star-studded universe perfectly synchronized to the British psychedelic rock band’s seminal masterpiece album “Dark Side of the Moon.”

Released in 1973, “Dark Side of the Moon” continues to resonate over half a century later. Merging innovative production and genre-blending compositions, the album dives in themes such as the passage of time, money and greed and explorations on mental illness, among many other philosophical topics. Pioneering a unique experimental style and sound, Pink Floyd remains one of the most commercially successful and influential bands in popular music history.
