Dr. Gabriella "Gabi" Rossetto-Harris is a National Science Foundation-funded postdoctoral research fellow in biology, co-hosted between the Museum (primary residence) and the Field Museum, Chicago, Illinois. Gabi is investigating the rainforest affinities of fossil plants from the Paleocene Castle Rock flora, Colorado.
Gabi studied Geology at Colorado College, then was a Museum intern and collections assistant in paleobotany. She fulfilled her dream of doing research in her father's homeland of Argentina with the completion of a MS and PhD in Geosciences working on Eocene-Oligocene Patagonian paleofloras at Penn State University.
